My Journey

I wasn’t raised in politics. I was raised to work.

My journey started like a lot of folks around here — learning early that if you want something done, you show up and do it yourself. That belief carried me into military service, where I deployed to Iraq and learned firsthand what duty, sacrifice, and brotherhood truly mean. Serving our country didn’t just shape my character — it sharpened my conviction that America is worth fighting for.

When I came home, I didn’t look for a spotlight. I looked for a way to serve.

For over a decade, I worked as a Critical Care Paramedic and 911 dispatcher. I’ve answered the calls most people hope they never have to make. I’ve seen families on their worst days. I’ve worked alongside law enforcement, firefighters, and healthcare professionals who quietly hold our communities together. I also volunteered as a firefighter with South Roane County Volunteer Fire Department because service doesn’t clock out.

At the same time, I built a life in the trades — working as a Journeyman Electrician in the electrical industry. I’ve worked with my hands. I’ve worked long hours. I’ve balanced budgets at my own kitchen table. I know what it means to earn a paycheck the hard way.

Through every chapter — soldier, paramedic, firefighter, electrician — one thing stayed consistent: I serve.

But over the years, I’ve watched career politicians forget who they work for. I’ve seen government grow while families tighten their belts. I’ve seen decisions made by people who’ve never worked a shift job, never worn a uniform, and never signed the front of a paycheck.

That’s when I realized service doesn’t stop at the firehouse or the jobsite.

It’s time to bring the work ethic of Main Street back to the State House.

I’m running because Tennessee deserves leadership grounded in faith, family, freedom, and hard work — not political ambition. I’m running to represent the people who build, protect, and serve this community every single day.

My journey hasn’t been about titles.

It’s been about answering the call.

And now, I’m answering it again.

My Vision

Tennessee doesn’t need more talk.

We need leadership that builds, protects, and prepares.

My vision is simple: strengthen the foundations that make our communities safe, prosperous, and free.

Building Infrastructure That Works

As a Journeyman Electrician, I understand infrastructure isn’t a buzzword — it’s the backbone of economic growth. Roads, bridges, power grids, broadband access, and emergency systems aren’t partisan issues. They are essential.

We must prioritize smart, responsible investments in infrastructure that:

  • Support job growth and small businesses

  • Strengthen rural connectivity and broadband access

  • Improve emergency response capability

  • Prepare our grid and utilities for future demand

If we want businesses to invest here and families to stay here, we must build for the future — without wasting taxpayer dollars.

Strengthening Education Without Losing Our Values

Education should prepare our children for opportunity — not indoctrination.

We need schools that:

  • Focus on reading, math, science, and real-world skills

  • Support career and technical education for students who want to enter the trades

  • Partner with parents, not push them aside

  • Keep politics out of the classroom

Not every student needs a four-year degree. We should expand pathways into skilled trades, apprenticeships, and workforce programs that lead to good-paying jobs right here in Tennessee.

Strong schools build strong communities.

Protecting Our Children

As a father and a first responder, protecting children isn’t theoretical for me — it’s personal.

We must:

  • Defend parental rights

  • Ensure schools are safe and secure

  • Combat human trafficking and exploitation

  • Protect children from harmful content and dangerous policies

The role of government is not to replace parents — it’s to support families and keep kids safe.

If we get this wrong, nothing else matters.

Standing With Those Who Stand for Us

I’ve served in combat. I’ve worked on ambulances. I’ve volunteered as a firefighter. I know what it means to run toward danger.

Our law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, and military families deserve more than applause. They deserve:

  • Competitive pay and benefits

  • Strong retirement protections

  • Mental health resources

  • Equipment and training they can rely on

  • Leadership that backs them — publicly and unapologetically

If someone is willing to put their life on the line for our community, our state should stand firmly behind them.

My vision is rooted in service.

Build what matters.

Protect what’s sacred.

Prepare the next generation.

Stand with those who defend us.

That’s how we secure Tennessee’s future.
